Horsetail Hair Rinse

Did you know Horsetail (Equisetum) is actually FULL of Silica (Silicon Dioxide) and is amazing for your hair? Horsetail has been shown to benefit hair growth, scalp health, and has been shown to increase strength in thickness of the hair follicle. This rinse also has my beloved Marshmallow Root in it. Marshmallow is a mucilage herb, which means it has great slippage (good for a rinse) and is loving on the scalp. Yummy Rosemary (grown right here) is also in this mix, and is often used for hair regrowth, and scalp health. Rosemary oil was actually studied against Minoxidil (Rogaine) and was found to be just as effective. This study was actually used to look at patients who were experiencing hair loss due to testosterone (seen in male patterned baldness and PCOS in women). Lemon balm is an astringent, which is great for oily hair. It’s also used for hair regrowth. Stinging Nettles are everything! Packed with nutrients, sulfur, and also silica. Last but not least, Lavender. I use this as a scalp soother. All of this is infused in ACV (apple cider vinegar) for 6 weeks.
